We are very much delighted to present Haydn's late great oratorio "The Creation" in collaboration with the Kobe City Philharmonic Chorus. This work is the fruit of Haydn's deep faith combined with his knowledge of sounds, which he had acquired not only through his many symphonic works but also through his vocal works such as masses and operas. The work tells the story of "Genesis," presenting various scenes with beautiful arias, powerful chorus, and orchestra. It was written to be sung in both English and German from the beginning, and this time we will perform it in German. Please do not miss it!
